IMS Policy

Policy and the resulting goals are announced by company top management and are focussed on maximum customer satisfaction, improving the environmental profile of the company, and raising the level of workplace safety. Company management ensures that these goals are understood and accepted by all company employees. Company leaders are interested in achieving and maintaining the type of reputation that will secure a significant position for the company on the market.

Company management has declared the following IMS policies to achieve these goals:

 

  1. The quality of services provided has priority significance for the existence, prosperity, and further growth of ECC CZ on the competitive market.
      
  2. The highest level of quality can be achieved only by means of a plan that is thoroughly focussed on all aspects of activities connected with quality, environmental impacts, and workplace safety. The combined results of these factors have a profound influence on productivity and on the reduction of costs.
     
  3. ECC CZ is committed to following the integrated system and practical experience of its mother company EWALS, based on customer expectations, while paying maximum attention to workplace safety and the environmental impacts of our activities.
     
  4. ECC CZ is committed to respecting legislative requirements as well as other binding Czech and international regulations.
     
  5. ECC CZ employees must focus on continual improvement in all activities. This will lead to constant improvements in the efficiency of the integrated management system, increased customer satisfaction, the reduction of the risk of workplace injuries and occupational illnesses, and the prevention of pollution. It is essential for management to serve as examples for all employees.
     
  6. Continual information and motivation are crucial for raising awareness of the integrated management system. Company management is intent on supporting and promoting these principles through well-planned employee training programmes.
     
  7. The goal of ECC CZ is to reduce the environmental impacts and risks of company activities, especially in over the road shipping and logistics activities on the business premises of our customers.

These policies are based on the needs of the company and are focused on continual improvements. They likewise provide a framework for establishing and testing company goals.

The company makes all efforts to ensure that its employees become familiar with these policies. New employees are introduced to policy in training and other company employees are familiarized with these principles in regular training focussed on the issue of IMS.
